IDAHO'S PREMIER DENTAL INSURANCE
After many years of practicing dentistry, the need for a better insurance solution became evident to Northwest Dental Benefits (NWDB) founder Dr. Kory Wilson, DDS. With the clear vision of improving smiles and overall wellness, Northwest Dental Benefits was established and became the first new Idaho dental insurance company in 40 years.
The Northwest Dental Benefits team is dedicated to delivering highly personalized service in independent dental care settings. With seamless claim management and industry leading benefits, our Providers are uniquely equipped to provide complete, simplified coverage with private practice service standards. Because of our strong local roots, Northwest Dental Benefits takes pride in being Idaho's premier dental insurance choice. Unlike larger national competitors, our team personally interacts with Groups and Members to provide the exceptional experience we believe they deserve.
A BRIEF HISTORY
THE IDEA IS BORN
Dr. Kory Wilson, DDS and Avondale Dental Group form the idea of Northwest Dental Benefits. Plans were quickly put into action to start a revolutionary dental insurance designed with Member needs as the top priority.
KOOTENAI COUNTY EXPANSION
Avondale Dental Group grows to create an expansive network across Kootenai County, including locations in Post Falls, Hayden Lake, and Coeur d'Alene.
STATE APPROVAL
The State of Idaho grants Northwest Dental Benefits its Certificate of Authority, making NWDB the first Idaho-founded insurance company in over 40 years.
PLAN LAUNCH
Northwest Dental Benefits, working with a plan administrator, partners with the area's largest medical provider to offer a unique dental plan with focus on better benefits and improved overall health.

BENEFIT FORTIFICATION
Northwest Dental Benefits increases the Lifetime Orthodontia Benefit for in-network orthodontia to $2,500. The Covered Services list continues to expand based on Member needs and Provider feedback.
SILVER VALLEY & ST. MARIES EXPANSION
NWDB adds 2 new offices in Kellogg and St. Maries to serve Members residing in Shoshone and Benewah Counties.
SOUTHERN IDAHO
EXPANSION
Partnering with an expansive network in Southern Idaho, Northwest Dental Benefits begins offering superior coverage across the Treasure Valley.
LEWISTON EXPANSION
Rounding out a presence in central Idaho, NWDB partners with a stellar office in Lewiston to service Latah County.

BACKGROUND
Dr. Wilson has lived in the area for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Washington State University (undergraduate) and the University of Washington (graduate).
INVOLVEMENT
Dr. Wilson is an acting Board Member of the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber of Commerce and North Idaho College Foundation. He also actively volunteers for youth organizations.
PASSIONS & HOBBIES
As a local business owner, Dr. Wilson is passionate about giving back to the community & ensuring North Idaho affords the same opportunities and experiences to the next generation. When he's not working or giving his time, he enjoys golf, skiing, boating, exercise, and spending time with his family.

BACKGROUND
Adrienne originally hails from Bigfork, Montana, but she has called Hayden Lake home for the last 20 years. She graduated from Montana State University.
INVOLVEMENT
Adrienne stays involved with local and national Human Resources programs such as the HR Certification Institute and the Human Resources Network of North Idaho. She was also recently appointed to serve as a volunteer for the United Nations.
PASSIONS & HOBBIES
A true leader, Adrienne is passionate about cultivating safe, thriving work environments with a 'Work Hard, Play Hard' mentality. When not busy working, she stays active with tennis, boating, and traveling to new and exciting places.

BACKGROUND
James currently resides in Hailey, ID and is a frequent visitor to our North Idaho offices. He has 25+ years experience in the finance world and is a graduate of Portland State University.
INVOLVEMENT
James continues to be involved with diverse finance roles, including for companies with expanded international operations. Personally, he enjoys giving back to nonprofits supporting wildlife, wild places, and access to enjoy them.
PASSIONS & HOBBIES
James is passionate about dynamic, results-driven work to create cohesive strategy and seamless workflow. When not buried in a spreadsheet, you can find James fly-fishing, adventuring by foot or bike, or on the ski hill with his family.

BACKGROUND
Jen moved from Arizona to Idaho at a young age and has been an Idaho resident for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Boise State University.
INVOLVEMENT
Jen is involved with nonprofits benefitting animals, particularly dogs, and also actively volunteers with the Museum of North Idaho. She supports chamber of commerce events and enjoys helping the Children's Village around the holidays.
PASSIONS & HOBBIES
Jen is passionate about staying active and giving back through volunteering. Outside of the office, you can find her playing soccer, on the pickleball courts, or reading books on true crime.

BACKGROUND
Karen is a born and raised Idaho native, living not far from her hometown of Sandpoint. She spent nearly 20 years at a national insurance company before joining the NWDB team.
INVOLVEMENT
Karen assists with NWDB's give back program, benefitting three local nonprofits every quarter. She also helps with other NWDB community involvement, such as food and school supply drive donations and sponsorships.
PASSIONS & HOBBIES
An intuitive worker, Karen is passionate about tackling complex processes and providing solutions for Members. In her free time, you can find her camping, hunting, fishing, or baking for her husband and two daughters.
